Week 4 Quarter 2 Blog

I don't really have much to say about this week, nothing relatively interesting happened much or at all. But I'll be able to summarize about what happened throughout the whole week at least. Of course, at the start of the week was the same boring thing, it was just a normal Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, but Thursday was interesting. However, we got a text on Wednesday from our group leader about wearing "Yellow Tees" tomorrow. Of course, I tried to remember this, but when I woke up and arrived at school it was too late. So, after a long call and talk with my mother and getting yelled at just a little bit, I got the yellow tee I so desperately forgot and actually started my day. If you're confused as to what's going on, this is one of the many ISA events throughout the whole school year that we'll have to do. What is ISA? ISA stars for International Student Athletics (I think). There are multiple ISA events either with different sports or activities, the one that happened at our school was a mix of girls' softball and boys' basketball. To be honest, I didn't really care about the games, so I didn't know who won or who lost because it just didn't interest me. However, I did have to work for said ISA event because it did happen at our school and I'm apart of leadership so. Every leadership student was divided into different jobs, some students could have been welcomers or referees, but I was a runner. I basically had to help with generally everything, refilling the water, guiding the schools out of the campus, and guarding the area because some students aren't the most common in an average mind. While watching during recess, I could see that one of the GT people in my period was ready to full on tackle some guy about to trespass, so that was nice to see. Other than that, everything went smoothly.

I know very few to little highs and lows about this whole entire week, so I'll just say that together, my biggest high & low is the ISA event. Normally, I'd say it's a high because 1. I didn't have to do school stuff at all, and 2. they let me use my phone. Of course, it was also fun to talk and be with friends and the leadership students, and it allowed me to get more used to the ISA events. Even though I literally am assigned with ISA events because I'm apart of GT, it's still interesting to do these things. However, the lows would be how exhausting it was. Now, I'm not being lazy, it was just super exhausting. Imagine having to haul coolers, walk around in the hot sun with no air conditioning, be in the burning weather, and at the same time, wear an overprotective vest. I was dying out there, and it wasn't the good kind either. I was also super tired, and I couldn't bring my coffee.

A moral of this story may be about dedication and always trying your best. Because of how exhausting this ISA event was, I was ready to "not really, but" die on the spot with how hot and tiring it was. However, dedication and hard work allowed me to surpass that, so honestly, you should always persuade yourself to do your best. Even though it's going to be hard at first, an attempt at doing it right is better than not finish it at all.

Anyway, magic notes, personally, I like the one from Leyla. Why? Because of the fact that she stopped asking me for diamonds in royale high, and honestly that's great, it'll really help me from constantly being asked about 100K diamonds at 7:08 AM in the morning. This one stood out more because the others were repetitive, most, if not all, we're about my TikTok account because a specific person decided to spread it to everybody else. This one doesn't talk about it at all, and directly focuses on ROBLOX. It sounds stupid to choose this one but I'm going with it so cry harder.
