Week 5 Quarter 2 Blog
This week's been super short, there were only 3 school days relatively due to the 2 holidays "Election Day" and "Veterans Day." Not to mention that nothing really happened at all this week, so I have not much to write about. All I could recall from these 3 days that was slightly important was some test thing. Essentially, the test gave questions that asked about your experiences with schools and some teachers, and I may or may not have been brutally honest in my personal opinion. All I can say is, hopefully the teachers aren't able to see the test answers/results. In social studies we also read some graphic novel that Mr. Press gave us, and it was interesting to say the least. Besides that, literally nothing interesting happened this week at all basically. Anything that happened in the other classes that is. In leadership we have finally been assigned to work on the Ilima Intermediate yearbook. Personally, I don't really care about this, but it is graded so I should care about it in some way. We were all assigned pages for the yearbook parts that were planned so far. I was assigned one page (so far) for the yearbook with Denna, and we basically finished designing the whole page, so we know where to put pictures that are unique in size or just putting random stuff that we feel like. If it wasn't obvious enough, the "yearbook" has the whole year written on the page with important events, classes/people, or some information about the whole year specifically. Me and Denna worked on the page specifically for the talent show. The talent show is obviously a talent show, and it didn't even happen yet. We're going to have to take pictures during the talent show. This yearbook will be something that'll last for essentially the whole year, so I have a long time to be able to fix my mistakes in this very long assignment. Oh, also this week was a nightmare on Friday because someone decided to announce my TikTok to the whole class and even though nobodies bullying the account, I'm still taking it personally.
I don't know any specific highlights and lowlights because this whole week been a lowlight essentially due to the fact of my crippling tiredness and stress. A high of this week may be that I was only given one page for the yearbook assignment so far. Apparently, it's super lucky to get only one page assigned because the only other person I know who got assigned only one was literally just one person. I know people who were assigned more than 5 pages and it either means I'm lucky, or our teacher things my capabilities are terrible and that it's best that if I do make a mistake, it doesn't affect the book greatly. So, it can either be a coincidence, or it could be TikTok to people I trust, like people I've known for years, except I didn't know any of the people in leadership for years (or at least a year). So, you might ask how they got to know about my TikTok? Well, two MUSTY 7th graders took my phone and took a picture of my TT account and told only a few people about my account. Ironically "only" isn't really a thing because during lunch advisory on Friday, the whole leadership class played a game which I decided to step out on. Although I didn't play, I knew what the game was which basically is " who is most/less likely to _____ " type of game. Everything was okay until one of the questions asked, " Who is most likely to be TT famous?" And you probably can guess how that went. One of the kids told everyone my TikTok account during that. I still don't trust people I know in real life with my TT account, but it was known forcefully.
Anyway, the moral of the story is to not trust random people and to always be careful because they will always find out your TikTok account if you don't.
