Week 8 Quarter 2 Blog
Relatively nothing interesting happened throughout the whole week except the last day "Friday". The whole week was sort of simple and nothing really happened in general that was super important, and the only thing I'm going to write about, I'd say it wasn't super important but it was a big event in a way. On Friday, we had to participate in another ISA event, in which ISA stands for International Sports Assembly ( I think), but basically it's just sports with other state schools. This Friday, the sport event was bowling, which was fun, I won't deny that. I generally love bowling, I took lessons based on bowling, but sadly it was with my father and since he's In general, just a hag, it didn't really end well and I couldn't go to bowling lessons anymore. So, I obviously haven't played bowling in years, probably since I was either 8-9 because that was the only time I remember going to bowling ( which was the bowling lessons. ) We went to a military bowling place and a lot of things happened there. I won't get into too much detail because realistically, I'm too lazy to write all of this out. But to summarize it thoroughly, I accidentally bought a whole pizza, I got 2 strikes in a row, and I also struggled a lot while trying to bowl. To be fair I did take lessons so I remember some stuff, but it was 4 years ago and I'm just still somewhat rusty. The event was organized into 4 different groups separated into multiple games. Two for 7th Grade Girls & 8th Grade Girls, and two for 8th Grade guys & 7th Grade guys. Since we didn't have a lot of boys in the team because the GT students couldn't come to the ISA event, our school had to merge our 2 boy teams together. We all did good, but I think I made a nice comeback by getting 130 points on my last game while the others had like 80-90. In general, the event was super fun, and although most of the whole pizza I had was taken by SOME specific 7th grades, I don't mind since I obviously couldn't eat the whole thing; & due to the fact I don't eat much. I would like to go back to bowling, but I lost interest after a while and I hav other things to do. Overall, good event, I still am not a fan of the ISA thing, but this was okay.
One high throughout this whole week may have been the ISA bowling itself, it was generally super fun, I met a few interesting people; and it was funny to see people missing a lot. No offense of course, but I just judged in total silence. It was also nice to get back into shape with bowling since as I mentioned, it's been years since I had last bowled. So it was a good experience to relive the old moments of learning from some random coach in an uncomfortable polo. A low might've been my whole ass pizza somehow being devoured within minutes, generally it's not a low because I didn't care, as I said I couldn't eat it all and only ate about 2 slices. But damn did the 7th Graders ( and Reesee & Janzen) devour that dry & crusty thing.
A moral from this story that I learned was how 20$ for a single slice of pizza doesn't make general sense and I should've expected a whole pie. Basically, think more carefully before you act.
One of the magic notes I decided to choose was from Leilani, just to generally state this. One, I have the best side eye, you know that damn well; and two, yes, you and McKenzie are annoying, I'd say not that much compared to some OTHER people in the period.
