Quarter 3, Week 6 Blog

     Regarding the last blog where I said I decided not to go to the ISA soccer event, I changed my mind. Or well, I had to change it because I was told that I was required to go because there's not enough boys, & without enough of the team, they won't be able to play properly. In an extremely quick summary of my experience, I hated it, it was extremely time consuming and had no interest to me. Why? Multiple reason actually. For one thing, I hate soccer, it's just something I don't enjoy nor am I good at in any way. I really wished that I didn't have to go to these sorts of things, but then again it is required for leadership. Of course, I liked some of the ISA events, or at least one, but that was bowling, and I had some experience with it. It was also very enjoyable, and I actually enjoyed it, but soccer was something entirely different. On top of that, the opponents we went against were experts on soccer, in which we had little to no knowledge or strategy on it. To me it was unfair, but then again, it's not like I'm coming back there, so I really don't care. Someone sprained their wrist, and another twisted their ankle though, I'll keep names confidential for privacy reasons in whatever case but, get well to those who were hurt. Along with that was recognition night, in which I got a 4.0 again. Congratulations to those who attended the recognition night, besides that, nothing much happened.

                                   Recognition Night

    I guess one high about this week was the recognition night, I'm glad I got another 4.0, it's something I strive to do to make those who care about me and who I care about proud. A low was going to the ISA event, I really don't have to explain since I just did in the first paragraph. In a quick summary, just wasn't my thing.

    A good moral that I learned was that you always have to take your part, you can't really expect something to happen unless you do something about it. I guess I learned that when I was forced against my will to attend that soccer event. I'm not complaining though, not like I really can.

    The magic note I chose was from Janzen (the second one) just to ask what this note even meant. I'm not really sure why, but you mentioned something about how my "butt" was better than my legs, and I just don't know what to say. Thank you...?
