Quarter 3, Week 9 Blog

Honestly there's not much to write about this week as nothing interesting had necessarily happened during this specific week. It was really boring and I couldn't find anything interesting about it really, but I'll do my best to make it detailed. A few things happened this week which included spirit week, spirit week as a whole is a bunch of complex things that Ic an't write about, but it's basically showing your representation, confidence, and pride for your specific team. There are multiple different things that were done to show this which included the spirit week dress up. For the whole week you were allowed to dress as anything you want as long as it ur mom followed the protocol of the designated day's style. If you want in summarized more easily, each day of the spirit week was assigned a specific theme that you had to dress up as to get points. Points are what allow you to win certain challenges from spirit week, and whichever team has the most points in their grade, wins. There were also things like penny count, chain link, can food drives, etc that also gave points. I think we won a few of those but the main thing was the dance/cheer off. The cheer-off is one of the more important events as it takes the whole team and they're all forced to do it. I was one of the dancers and they made me break dance, because of that I think, we won which i'm somewhat proud of. We helped in spirit week a lot, for example, we were putting wrist bands on people with clothes that matched the topic to get points for some teams. We also had to help set up some of the sports or activitIes that happened on Friday. Speaking of Friday, we also had the elementary school dance competition. This competition consisted of multiple elementary schools coming together with dance teams to win the trophy of said competition. Leadership helped to organize it and set up, and I had to take pictures, I think what I got was nice. I forgot who won as I didn't care, but it was a good event.

Setting up for the Spirit Week activities

One high from this week was that we finally only have one more week of school to deal with before spring break. I'm so excited for this, I literally just want a damn break and I can't wait for this to finally happen for once. Even if it's only a week long, all I ask is for a break. A low might be the dance competition, roughly I saw no use of us coming, and 6 whole hours is mortifying. But, if we have to work, it's futile to complain

A moral I learned from this week is to be grateful, I'm finally grateful to have a break once again, and I'll be sure to appreciate it for every little second.

A magic note I chose was Janzen 1's just to say 2 things. 1. I think this was like 2 weeks late from the original event, and 2. The gaslighting is real /j.
