Quarter 4 Week 2

So, this week was more intense rather than the last one; although it may have been short, the last two days truly were something else. We had Monday-off due to some holiday so thankfully it knocked off one school day, of course that doesn't excuse the 4 others. Tuesday and Wednesday weren't bad, the main focus was just orientation practice which included the fashion show and proper timing when the announcer had to read out clothing and dress codes that referred to what you had on. Wednesday was Family Nite though, meaning we had to stay after school for 2-4 hours depending on if you stayed during the period of the school ending and Family Nite starting, or you just left. I really don't need to explain Family Nite again because I've done it 4 times now and if you didn't catch the gist, that's on you entirely. This Family Nite was based off of ELA or English, and this one was apparently required to attend in order to participate in 8th grade graduation. That kind of disappointed me because my mom is extremely busy all the time, and my brother is so God damn slow that he takes his sweet time to go to places, and because of him we're usually late to well, anything. While attending the Family Nite, there's not much I can say about it, it was fine, no specific opinions about it really. Working was also okay, all I had to do was operate from 7-up booth that had images in which one person held and had to guess what it is without looking while some other person/people describe the image they're trying to guess. On Friday, all that happened was afterschool orientation, and so far, I'd go to say that it's doing pretty good. On the topic of my brother, he's going into UH soon graduating from high school, so we took a tour of the campus and dorms. The whole event was fine, kind of excited to be alone for once.

A high this week was how we had a day off this week, as stated before, I just like an extra day to relax and do whatever. A low this week may have been having to attend the Family Nite, I had no bother having to work for it, but I feel like my family as a whole isn't the most pleasant to be around sometimes, mainly when my brothers there too.

A moral I've learned from this week is to always do your best, I've learned this when I had to deal with a lot of delays and struggles just to get even the simplest things, I leave like leaving the house on time to go to someplace (this is definitely not targeted to someone). Basically, just do your best to strive for what you want.
