Quarter 4 Week 4 Blog
I can guarantee you that I am absolutely not ready for next week. It's entirely due to the fact that orientation starts next week, and I'm extremely anticipated on messing up. Some contexts on the matter, orientation is basically introducing 6th grade elementary students to middle school. The idea of it is introduced to become sort of play with dancing, the play is based off of the movie Shrek, meaning that we had to also the characters from it as well. I've been chosen for Rumpelstiltskin and although I'm physically prepared for orientation as in what I have to do, clothing, and acting; I'm still not mentally ready. This week was mainly a lot of practice, and I mean a lot, every day we have to learn when to time ourselves onto the stage, the dances, and touring the 6th graders. Overall, a busy week, but next week is going to be even busier.
A high this week may be that this is one the last extremely important events, it's not that I'm to stubborn to do them, but they're extremely busy and somewhat time consuming so I'm glad it'll end soon. Of course, there's still yearbook and one (or two) more recognition night. A low this week may or may not be the orientation itself that's coming up, I'm still a little nervous about it, but that' won't stop me from trying my best.
A moral I learned this week is to always try not to stress too much about things, anxiety can lead to a lot of flaws when doing somethings as it disrupts your performance and such. And although I'm not doing so great at controlling that, I learned that lesson and that's all that basically matters.
My favorite magic note that I got this week was probably Leylas. I'm not sure as to why I chose it, I just found it so random that it was actually funny for no apparent reason.
