Week 3 Quarter 2 Blog

Image
All I can say this week is that I'm very, very tired. This week's basically the reveal that leadership was going to be stressful and requires a lot of hard work. Even though I knew it a while ago since situations like this basically always happened. A lot has happened this week and realistically, this week has been very stressful for multiple reasons. For one thing we basically started recording videos for the GT, and if you need a quick summarize of what it was since you CAN'T keep up with all my essay filled blogs, we chose a topic relating to an issue about Ilima and made a video about it. It's a good thing Ilima has a lot of problems because we chose school fights, and since I'm possibly the only one with the slightest bit of experience in final cut then it's a lot of stress onto me. There are also other things I have to do like interviewing people and editing the video along with having to plan it out and make some sort of script. Besides that, I do in fac...

Week 2 Quarter 2 Blog`

This week at Ilima has been pretty basic and normal, nothing super unique or interesting had happened this week; but some things still had happened this week. I'll just go from the start of the week to the end in specific order as traditionally in my blogs. During the start of the week, we were assigned broadcasting for Ilima TV, and it was fine. Nothing to bad happened while we were operating TV, although there were some mix ups, I was too tired to understand which is why on that week began my coffee addiction. Apparently, people give me weird looks seeing an adolescent drinking coffee, (especially a 13 yar old) which is understandable. Anyway, besides that were what happened during our class periods and advisories. For our class periods, on Monday all we did was help the GT students get caught up and to understand everything. We also did some others like designing our yearbook designs. The yearbook designs we make require 3 things, a cover...

Week 1 (Quarter 2) Blog

This week had become the official start of the 2nd quarter of the 2022-2023 Ilima Intermediate school year, and it's been very normal so far. Nothing stressful or bad has happened (suspiciously), and this week's been sort of "entertaining" in a way. For one thing, the new GT students had just come in. I don't know any of their names to be fair, and I haven't interacted with any of them. But because of the retreat, I was able to communicate with the older leadership students. I mean, I was able to before, but I couldn't really do it well, couldn't even wave to other people or say hello. Besides that, I don't have any specific opinions on them, I don't really know them at all. But I assume they're good people, so perhaps I'll get to know them better. Anyways, there were 2 new activities that we had to do. The 1st one being a  Halloween DIY decoration which was assigned during the retreat. My first original plan was to make only a sp...

Retreat Blog

Picture taken during the retreat & at it      For the past few days during fall break this year, our Ilima Intermediate leadership class was invited to go to an annual retreat program. Well firstly, you might ask, what is the retreat program? Well, as I said, it's a sort of annual event that happens for Ilima students (specifically those in the leadership class). It's basically a resort, or beach house, it's located next to the Kamehameha Hwy and is a relatively nice place with peaceful oceans and rainfall. The place was very relaxing besides the constant screaming of the other students within the same house and being next to the water was like a nice place to be stress free. The whole point of go...
